Puppy School IN -PERSON and online

A set of 6 puppy training classes, each class lasting1 hour.  The training programme has been carefully designed to take you through all the obedience basics to give you a good foundation for life with your puppy. 

Only kind, reward-based training methods are used in class and groups are kept small to allow individual attention.  Classes also focus on prevention of behaviour problems.  All household or family members are welcome to join in the fun too!

You will receive a welcome envelope from our fabulous sponsor Natures Menu as well as a Puppy School manual with weekly notes to keep you on track.

Your puppy will need to be fully vaccinated before the start date of the course and must be between 10 and 20 weeks of age.

The following exercises will be covered in class:

• Come when called

• 'Sit', 'Down' and 'Stand'           

• Walk on a loose lead

• Stay

• Leave               

• Socialisation

• Getting used to be handled

• Prevention of resource guarding 

Puppy School Plus is for puppies aged 17+ weeks to 1 year and covers the same exercises as the Puppy School course outlined above. You can book using the Book Now button in orange on this page (go to booking page or homepage for dates).

All the information you will need to train your puppy will be given to you in class.  However, you will need to set aside time every day to practice the exercises at home.  This will allow you to progress further and quicker and will result in a better trained puppy at the end of the 6 weeks.
